I think one of the most important lessons I have ever learned and experienced in my life is to never give up. When I was younger my father told me "Never quit! Try, try, try until you succeed." This lesson has made me achieve and learn so much that I never knew I had the potential to accomplish. I think it is important to know that every human is not perfect and has encountered more failures in their lives than victories. Despite this, my father told me that failure works very similar to how people jump on a trampoline: once they go down, they will have to spring back up. I have learned and am still learning that failing is totally okay and that I cannot keep failing all the time. Every time I fail, I just find more ways to problem solve through the situation and succeed in the future.

I would want my family and friends to remember me as an individual who had her heart set on a goal and would give it her all to achieve her dreams. My parents have taught me not to ever give up; it was the first lesson I ever learned from them.
